Getting Started

Hey everyone! I figured I would give this blogging thing a try! Just an update on everything going on in our world....
We moved back to SC on Dec 29th! We are so glad to be back home, but I do miss everyone in NC. It was a good change at the time. We are currently renting from a friend, and saving money to buy a house in the future.
Curtis: When we moved, he was still employed in NC and searching for a place here. He was laid off for 2 weeks, and called back which was such a blessing since the job he was trying to get in Greenville fell through. He continued to search here and an opening at a friends job finally came about. He quit in NC and was hired at this finance company. He loves his job and is finally on a normal schedule! He has worked 3rd shift for 10 years and is now working 7-3:30 M-F! Finally a normal life!
Susie: Even though the job change has been wonderful for all of us, he did take a pay cut. To off-set it, I have started working outside of the home. I am a cashier at Hamrick's in Spartanburg. I started last week and I really like it. My feet and back kill me every night, but it is worth it. Now we just have to adjust to my crazy schedule that changes every week and he has a normal life. We are so blessed with parents that are able to watch the kids.
Landon and Alex: Landon is now 5 years old! He is getting so big! He will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. He loves to play video games! We have a Wii and he would play it all day long if we let him! He and Alex are playing T-ball together with the YMCA. Alex is all girl with her dressing up and princesses and dolls, but can be such a tom-boy! She loves to do her workbooks, word-searches and hidden picture books. She is 3 1/2 years old.

Hopefully I will be able to keep this up!
